Choosing the right Truck Accessories

Choosing Accessories for your truck

Shopping for Truck accessories is a lot of fun but we all know that it can also be a dilemma. I know when I get a new truck I have all these thoughts of things I want to do to the truck but honestly where do I begin.

Well for starters I always start with the simple things that give me the best bang for the buck when choosing Truck Accessories. One of the first things I do is look into some custom wheels and tires. A new set of rims can drastically change the look of your truck, not to mention add a little bling if you go with chrome . Now when choosing rims you can choose to stay with your stock size or get some larger truck rims to give your truck the street look. Either way a set of rims will definately make your truck different then the crowd.

The next thing I look at when shopping for Truck Accessories is cosmetic items such as a visor, rainguards, bug delector, bull bar or running boards. Not only do most cosmetic items I metioned make the truck look better, most of them serve a purpose. In fact the first thing I put on is rain guards. I honestly cannot live without them.

Once I have the cosmetics done. Now I can do some work under the hood. Some of the best Truck Accessories are installed under the hood. Firrst I want the sound so I install a custom exhaust. I prefer Magnaflow myself for my Fords however it is personal prefference. Along with the exhaust I like to pugrade the intake giving me more HP as well as a nice throaty sound. Then I may look into a programmer or tuner to enhance my performance and maybe dress the engine slightly.

Now that I have the basics done I can look into other enhancements such as suspension, leveling kits, lift kits etc.. You see I really make it sound easy. But believe me it is a time consuming process that really makes you think when shopping for truck accessories. sure you can decide you want a certain thing like a set of steps for example, but then when you start looking at them you find there are 25 different brands and 15 different finishes.. Holy crap how do you decide. All I can say is told you it is tough.. Have fun and enjoy adding your accessories to your truck.

No Google Caffeine yet in 2010

Well it is well into January 201 and as of yet there are no signs of Google Caffeine emerging. Some say they have seen it op in and out but myself I have my doughts. What happened Google is my question. In early November didn’t Google state that “Caffeine is ready for a larger audience” and was ready to come out? Matt Cutt’s then made an announcement that they would wait until after the holidays. Now my question is this. If caffeine was ready then where is it? Or is it really the case of Caffeine wwasn’t really ready? from what I am seeing Google may have been trying to introduce caffeine but said uh oh after realising it was not going smoothly.. Is that the case Google?

Truck accessories

Truck accessories vary. In fact, there have been so many truck accessories in the market today that it will be hard for anyone to keep track of them. Some truck accessories are created specifically for a particular type of truck while others can be applied to all types. Of course, as a truck owner, it is only fair that you are knowledgeable on the types of truck accessories for any type of truck. But before we go into the discussion of the different truck accessories, it is only fair that you get to know the two types truck accessories first. The two types of truck accessories are the interior and exterior truck accessories. It is pretty self explanatory. Interior accessories are used on the inside of the truck while exterior accessories are used on the outside. One kind of an interior accessory is the bed cover. This is put on the truck bed where packages are loaded. Since it is used on the inside of the truck, it is part of interior truck accessories. Bed covers can be used in almost any kind of truck and it is also a very important accessory. An example of exterior truck accessories is the fender flare. It is used on the truck to protect it from mud as well as other elements. The best part is that it comes in different colors making it one of the most attractive truck accessories to own. These are just some accessories that any truck may equip. These are basic types of truck accessories that you should not forget

Does Your “Thank You” Page Reinforce Your Brand?

Does Your “Thank You” Page Reinforce Your Brand?

Through a brand promise, a company commits to its customer
a certain experience each and every time the customer
interacts with that business. When a customer enters a
bricks and mortar store and makes a purchase the experience
is complete when the sales associate remembers to say
“thank you, please come again” so shouldn’t the experience
be the same if you make a purchase online?

Many online retailers and marketers make a big mistake in
not leveraging this simple tool. The customer finds your
website, takes the time to surf around reviewing your
products and decides to make a purchase, sign up for a
whitepaper or register for a seminar only to be met with a
simple and unbranded default thank you page that doesn’t
complete the entire customer experience.

1.Reassure

After your customer makes a purchase or signs up for
additional information, your thank you page is a great
place to reassure your visitor that you did received their
information or request, that the product, price and deliver
is in order and what they should expect next from you. This
could include information about shipping including links to
track delivery or how to download whitepaper, or call in
information for your seminar.

2.Re-engage

Your thank you page is also a great place to re-engage your
customers by offering them additional products to add on to
their orders or to entice them to return back to your
website with a coupon for a future offer. Once the
customer is already familiar with you enough to make a
purchase, here is an opportunity to introduce them to
another product they may be interested in at a compelling
discount. This is a place to also inform your customers of
upcoming specials, events or contests you might be offering
and to provide them with a link so they can participate.

3.Reinforce

Similar to a bricks and mortar store, your thank you page
is a great way to reinforce your brand. Depending upon
what your brand promise or commitment is, you can use your
thank you page for marketing messages, education and
commitment to your customers. For example, if you sell
widgets, you can include a “how to guide” to educate your
customer on how to use the widget. Another example is to
provide your customer with a free gift. Similar to the
“Free gift with purchase” concept at a department store,
you can immediately increase the perception of value by
offering a free gift on your thank you page.

Your thank you page is just one of many ways your customers
experience your company and should have the sole purpose of
creating a lasting impression on your customers. Make it
really special and make it support your brand. Too many
companies put up a really great website, supply it with
strong content and build in incentives for people to sign
up, yet they use a very poor thank you page. This is a
great opportunity to stand apart from your competition and
leave a powerful impression on your customers.

5 Ways to Create A Successful Niche Business

5 Ways to Create A Successful Niche Business

Too many business owners fish in the widest and deepest pools’ trying to be all things to all people.  Offering a broad range of products and services to a broad audience and never really create the waves that lead to tremendous profits.  By positioning yourself at the top of a smaller, well defined pool (or niche) you will set your business apart from the competition and create a profitable business.

Here are five proven ways to create a profitable niche business.

1.Define Your Market

Research the needs and challenges of your target audience and capitalize on those needs.  Understand the community and develop solutions that appeal to a specific group.  For example – Understanding Social media in Small Business is a need of the small business community, a niche market would be to develop a product or service that teach small business owners how to use social media in their business.

2.Create Your Product or Service

Based upon the needs of your target audience, you want to create a product or offer a service that addresses those needs.  Many start with developing their products first without researching if there is a market for it.  First define your audience and establish there is a demand for a new product and then develop it.

3.Create Your Brand Promise

The brand promise is a statement of what your customers can expect every time they engage with your company and is the center of your business. When a brand stands out with a strong promise that deliver value consistently, the value of your offering increases and customers will be willing to whip out their wallets and pay for your products.

4.Become the Expert

Position yourself as an expert in your niche and become the “go to guy” for this product of service. Showcase your knowledge and expertise by writing articles, participating in forums and providing tips, techniques and strategies in short, succinct messages via popular social networking sites.

5.Create specific messages direct to your niche

Business is conducted on an emotional level.  Now that you have identified your market, built a community around your offering, you must communicate with your target market frequently.  Develop specific messages targeted towards your niche market appealing to their emotions and demonstrating your benefits.  It takes 7 times before somebody is comfortable enough with you and your expertise to buy from you so be specific, be credible and offer extraordinary value.

No matter if you are a retailer, service professional, internet marketer or mom and pop shop, you stand for something.  There is a reason that you went into business and a reason why you want your business run a certain way.  Building a brand starts with defining what is your core purpose and the inherent promise you are making to your customers and delivering value every time.  Isolating your niche in your area of expertise and bringing solutions to a targeted group will keep the cash registers ringing every time.

Affiliate Marketing Made Easy – Seven Simple Steps.

Affiliate Marketing Made Easy – Seven Simple Steps.

Copyright © 2009 Riley West

Affiliate marketing is the place where the majority of Internet Marketing “entrants” first look when approaching the idea of making money online.

The reason for this is clear.

An affiliate marketer doesn’t have to engage in the long, and often painful, process of developing a product to sell to a market. In fact, if you want to just do it the way I do, go to Clickbank.

Once there, you can look at the various “market segments” Clickbank divides it’s considerable marketing world into.

Make a list of the top three or four products in each segment.

There you are! That’s what’s hot. If they weren’t they wouldn’t be in the top three! So don’t use the same list forever!

Make a new list once a month and, pretty soon, when you get your marketing plan together, you’ll hit a home run because because you are playing ball in the right park.

That doesn’t mean you can’t make money selling products that are not in the top three or four. You can.

But how to pick a product isn’t the only reason I am writing this article. I want to talk to you about HOW you are going to sell this product.

I have only had success in one way.

First – I pick what looks to me like the best product at that time, and the product pretty much defines the buyer type and thus the niche.

Second -  I make a sales page (very low key-most high powered internet marketers wouldn’t do this – but I am NOT a high-powered marketer) that presents the product in a good way.

Third – I then put that page at a url that will help it get well ranked for a keyword at the beginning of the url and the keyword has to be VERY relevant to the product or market.

Fourth – I get a few links to the url by posting it out on the web at a few places. I like Stumbleupon and Digg and Reddit. I get some other links to that url by submitting my rss feeds to some “feed aggregators” like feedest.com and feedage.com

Fifth – I write a few articles (this is one!) about the topic “keyword” and put them at Ezine (at a minimum) and other article places if I can. Recently I enabled myself to place articles at hundreds of places (including EzineArticles) by paying for a mass submission outfit to…well…mass submit my articles to LOTS of places. It has real impact.

Sixth – This should be about the fourth day. Maybe fifth. At first, when you are slow at it. On this day I check to see if I am “indexed by Google.”

How easy is that? You take your entire URL and copy it. Now paste it into the Google search box. If you come up right there at the top of the page, or nearly, you are indexed! Google knows who you are!

An awful lot of websites sites are out there, but no one knows it. You can bet they are NOT indexed and I can hear them screaming about low traffic now!

Seventh – What I do…when I am looking to start another site is go through a series of other things I can do to cause traffic to come to my site.

Like I will put a ‘pointer” post on 3StepAds. The links I put on there “point” to pages I want to increase the rank of.  There are other places like this too.

In that “pointer post” I will place links pointing back to my site! If I was selling fish oil it would look like this in the text body of the post… “There are many great benefits you receive when you take 2 of these fish oil capsules in the morning.”  The italicized keyword “fish oil capsules” would be a hyperlink to my “fish oil capsules” URL. Get it?

The keyword “fish oil capsules” is one of Googles most important ranking factors. Google considers a “verifying text link” that is in context (where it belongs – and not just in some random place) an important “vote” for your site being good for “fish oil capsules.”  They (google) then start to move you toward the first page for “fish oil capsules.”

On some keywords I got to first page fast! Like a week. On others – never. But one things RULES! You absolutely have to have traffic to your site!

And getting on Google Page One will get you TRAFFIC!
